Many Souls as Stars – An evening with Natasha Siegel
November 18, 2025 @ 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Join us at the Refuge Coffee House for an evening with Natasha Siegel as Emma Hinds interviews her about her new sapphic Gothic romance novel, As Many Souls As Stars. We’ll be diving into the world of her spellbinding novel, exploring the themes, characters, and inspirations that have captured readers’ hearts, before opening into a live Q&A and a chance to have your book personally signed by Natasha herself.
AS MANY SOULS AS STARS is the Sapphic retelling of Christopher Marlowe’s Doctor Faustus we’ve all been waiting for: beautifully gothic, richly lyrical, and aching with queer longing.
Set in 16th-century Suffolk, the novel follows a young woman who makes a deal with the devil, a shadowy, seductive figure she accidentally summons through a spell rooted in her father’s arrogance. What follows is a centuries-spanning pursuit of obsession and reincarnation: a star-crossed love story and a cat-and-mouse chase through history, as these two women meet again and again, forever changed by one another.
It’s a story threaded with legacy, curses, desire, and power, an exploration of what we owe the people we love, and what we inherit from those who came before us.
